You are probably very familiar with all of the capabilities of AutoCAD LT. Autodesk Inventor LT adds even more:

• Full DWG Compatibility. Autodesk Inventor LT is fully compatible with AutoCAD DWG file format. This means that Autodesk Inventor LT can open DWG files, and data in AutoCAD can be rapidly integrated and utilized in 3D models. In addition, Autodesk Inventor LT stores drawing views in a DWG file to provide view, plot and measure in AutoCAD wihile preserving fully associative drawing updates.
• Cut and Paste from AutoCAD LT. Geometry from AutoCAD can be selected and cut and pasted directly into Autodesk Inventor LT - Just like any standard MS Windows application.
• Powerful 3D part modeling. Autodesk Inventor LT provides all of the 3D part modeling capabilities that you expect. It contains the Inventor sketching environment which allows users to use familiar 2D sketching concepts and existing data to form the basis of 3D part models. In addition, it provides all of the powerful part modeling capabilities of the full Inventor product including extrude, revolve and sweep plus a number of standard mechanical features like holes, chamfers, threads, patterns and more.
• Automated design and manufacturing documentation. The Drawign Manager in Autodesk Inventor LT helps you dramatically reduce the time required to deliver accurate, standards compliant drawings that help you reduce manufacturing errors and deliver the design in less time.
• Write out AutoCAD Blocks. Autodesk Inventor LT generates AutoCAD blocks from Inventor drawing views so you can redesign parts usign Autodesk Inventor LT, and then integrate the new drawing views directly into your original AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT drawings.
